American War Resisters Need your Help!

Canada is currently harbouring two US armed forces resisters. The two men, Jeremy Hinzman and Brandon Hughey came to Canada to avoid having to go to Iraq. They both have applied for refugee status in Canada. ( I am using the term resister rather than deserter. The American govt can call it what they like, in Canada, I call them war resisters.

No American war resister has ever been awarded refugee status yet during the Vietnam war, thousands of Americans came north.

These two men should enjoy the full protection of the Canadian government. That means they should be allowed to remain in Canada as long as there is threat of the two men being sent to the war and or until it is safe for them to return to the United States.

Jeremy Hinzman and Brandon Hughey need our support.
